A Case of Sparganosis

Abstract
|
|
|
Human sparganosis is one of the main tissue parasitosis caused by helminthes irr Korea and related mostly with habits of raw snakes and/or frogs.
A c4se of sparganosis which was removed by surgery from the subcutaneous tissue o the medial aspect of right mid-thigh in a 65 years old Korean is reported. Life cycle and route of infection of sparganosis in this case are briefly discussed and related literatures were reviewed.
